Clean-ups

Join us in cleaning up the environment in southern Ontario. Our volunteers make a significant impact on our efforts to keep the environment clean. Without you and their help; these
clean-ups would take many days longer and would be much less productive.

What materials do I need to bring to a clean-up event?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, and bringing gardening or work gloves. We provide trash bags and other necessary equipment.

Are clean-up events safe for children and families?
Our clean-up events are family-friendly and supervised by our team. We ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

My child needs their volunteer hours, can they get them here?

Yes! The Ontario River Project works in tandem with the Credit River Anglers association which many volunteers have used to put in their mandatory hours 

Sooner or later, we will have to recognise that the Earth has rights, too, to live without pollution. What mankind must know is that human beings cannot live without Mother Earth, but the planet can live without humans.
