Joining the Ontario River Project (ORP) community means embracing respect, integrity, and collaboration. Our guidelines prohibit harassment, abuse, and the posting of inappropriate material. We're committed to a safe digital environment, forbidding the upload of harmful files or content protected by intellectual property rights without authorization. Unauthorized advertising or promotional activities using ORP's platform are not allowed. We respect creativity and intellectual labour; thus, attributing work to its original creators is mandatory. These principles ensure our community remains a positive, enlightening space for everyone involved, fostering mutual respect and advancing our collective mission. Violations of these terms may lead to actions, including but not limited to content removal and account suspension, ensuring ORP remains a respectful and secure environment for all members. We emphasize the importance of maintaining a respectful and lawful online environment. Members are prohibited from restricting other users' access or enjoyment of the platform, engaging in illegal activities, or taking information from individuals without their explicit consent. Violations of these guidelines are taken seriously. The Ontario River Project (ORP) reserves the right to determine if a breach of terms has occurred. In such cases, ORP may take appropriate actions to protect the community and uphold the integrity of our mission. This approach ensures a safe, productive space for all users, fostering a community built on trust and mutual respect.
The ORP will never claim ownership of materials or work that you have done or provided. However, by submitting any material which includes but are not limited to, pictures, videos, files, and anything submitted to or on the ORP website/organization you are hereby giving the right which includes but is not limited to modify, copy, distribute, display to the public, reproduce, edit, translate, and reformat unless EXPLICITLY DIRECTED OTHERWISE during the period of up to 6 hours after the post/submission (this includes in person relations as well). This means you will lose any right to pursue any legal action against the ORP for use of said property. However, The ORP operates in good faith and in most scenarios will have no problem working with anyone who may not have understood these terms (This is not always the case, and the ORP still reserves the right to adhere to the terms and conditions at any point in time)
The ORP is not expected to compensate any party for use of their material unless there is an agreement made between the ORP and said party. The ORP has no problem attributing authors and giving credit where it is due. However, this may not always be the case; offensive, controversial names, and/or controversial requests by the original author will not be honoured and in cases where the ORP has already modified a submission; it may be too late to attribute the author. If you would like to be credited for your work then you MUST let the ORP know during the submission or within the 6 HOUR GRACE PERIOD, If you have attributed yourself in your work i.e. a logo or anything identifying you as an author we will NOT remove the attribution without EXPLICIT CONSENT.
The ORP is not expected to use every post/submission given. The ORP has the right to pick and choose what post/submission will be acknowledged and/or used in any case unless an agreement has been made i.e. promotions, sponsorships, and other agreements that state a post will be made.
LIABILITY

OUR RIGHT TO TERMINATE AND RESTRICT

The "Copyright and Trademark Notices" below is only for those maliciously using the property of the ORP. Feel free to use the ORP in your videos or pictures if you have attended or have been given consent to make any form of content regarding the ORP.
