It's no secret that the owners of the Ontario River Project are fisherman! The garbage clean-ups were previously hosted through the Credit River Anglers Association (CRAA). We still work very closely with the CRAA to recruit more volunteers to participate in clean-ups. There's no a doubt a huge thank you goes to the CRAA and the community for providing not only resources; but their time to help make our waterways and land masses a safer-cleaner place.
The Ontario River Project works very closely with local associations in conservation efforts, and the Port Credit Salmon And Trout Association or known as the PCSTA is no exception! They are a dedicated group of anglers and conservationists alike who share the same views and values in conservation! We are proud to help their efforts/events and vice versa! Make sure to check out the PCSTA and support them!
Operation Litter Ridder is a group of amazing staff and volunteers who share the same goal as the ORP. To RID the garbage in our local parks, land, and waterways! They host massive cleaning events and even have their own line of equipment to do so! We are nothing short of honoured to work with a group such as Operation Litter Ridder and are excited to see how we fair against the ongoing littering issues!
OnePieceADay is an organization based on bringing likeminded people and organizations together! We're very happy to work with any organization with mutual goals such as trash cleanups and conservation work! We will be creating groups on their app to connect us all together and with others to push forward our conservation efforts and create change in our communities!
